I just finished one of the most moving, wonderful love stories I have ever read. I fought tears off and on through out the book. The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffennegger is an extraordinary book that I recommend most highly. *warning* Spoilers to follow

So, we got mom’s check Friday. One would think it would have been a fairly decent weekend. Turned out to be one of the most emotionally trying weekends I can remember.

Last night, I was sitting in my room watching America’s Got Talent and wondering why I was missing BC so much. Then one of the finalists sang Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” and it hit me. Well, its been an unremarkable day. I sent off one resume for a temporary position that pays just over 15 USD an hour. I will be printing a follow up letter plus a cover letter and resume to send off. I should be fairly jazzed right about now, but I’m not. Read the rest of this entry »

Well, I am chilling at my uncle’s lady friends house. He’s gone inside to rest and I just don’t feel like being inside. I guess its my antisocial hour. He does look a lot better, and everyone is saying he is getting around better, eating better, etc.

Today has been a pretty good day, all in all. I really didn’t enjoy class that much, but only because I sat around about 30 or 45 minutes waiting for the rest of the class to catch up so we could go on to the next thing the instructor wanted to show us. Been a day of nothing here. I got up and played chauffeur, then came home. Mom started breakfast and I noticed BC online. ‘Tis good to know he’s still kicking, though we didn’t get to talk. I knew mom would be calling any minute, so I didn’t message him. Figured I would give him time to deal with emails and what not. So, Labor Day weekend has come and gone. I really didn’t do anything special. Just lazed around the house, blogged, made a few graphics. I even finished one book and have gotten about half way through the other. I might just be coming to terms with my life and the choices I have made and am making…Finally.
