I had the pleasure of watching the movie Gamer last night. I went in expecting a movie about gaming, which it was to a small extent. However, the game was not the main focus of this movie.

We have all heard the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, I am sure. I have had the pleasure of watching the movie based upon the story. I grabbed it in my search to watch more of Tim Burton’s movies and I am glad I did.

I’ve just finished watching the newish movie Surrogates. It stars Bruce Willis and Ving Rhames amongst others. It is an interesting movie, but I am not sure how I feel about the seeming message….(warning the rest may contain spoilers.). Read the rest of this entry »

I just finished watching one of my favorite chick flicks for the 99 bajillionth time. It’s actually been several years since I watched it last. Now I remember why I like it so much.
Friday September 25
So I spent last night watching The Battle for Endor. OH MY GOD…that movie is SO cute. And I suddenly realized how young I was the first time I saw it. It came out when I was about six…Dude…SIX?? I can’t imagine being that young, though I know I had to have been!
I love Wicket and Cinder. They are both so cute. And all the Ewoks look like cuddly teddy bears. The old man, Noa, and his little friend, Teek, are awesome as well. I felt like a kid watching this movie, and I really needed that at the time.
If you’ve never seen the movies or not watched them in years, I’d say grab them the next time your at the rental place or see them for sale. It will bring back the innocence of your youth, assuming you are somewhere in the Gen X range.
