I have just finished reading the five books of the Meredith Gentry books by Laurell K. Hamilton. As I have mentioned before, I have also read all of the currently available Anita Blake books by the same author. Both series have their merits, but—even as much as I love vampire stories—I do believe the Gentry series is the better of the two to date.

Staying up all night reading

I spent a good bit of Friday afternoon and well into the night reading. I remembered once I’d finished the book why I usually try to space a book out over two days! My eyes were a bit tired, but the book was an excellent read.

The Time Traveler’s Wife

I just finished one of the most moving, wonderful love stories I have ever read. I fought tears off and on through out the book. The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffennegger is an extraordinary book that I recommend most highly. *warning* Spoilers to follow

I was up until about 2 a.m. this morning. My book would not let me sleep. I was reading Kushiel’s Dart by Jacqueline Carrey. A very good book indeed.

A more personal Post 4

Some of you may have thought bookstores to be an odd posting in this memories series, as I am calling it to myself. However, BC and I both like to read a lot. We’ve haunted many bookstores in our visits in his area.

The first one we hit was a pretty commercial one…I have no idea which. They had a million different types of Monopoly games. I had so much fun wondering around, looking at the books and other stuff. Sometimes It’s the Little Things Part 2

Well, here I sit bored at home so I figured I would see if I could expand on the last post a little.
