Who would have thought watching TV could bring on a case of “miss him so much it hurts”? I surely didn’t.
I knew watching the finale of America’s Got Talent might be a bit rough emotionally (which boggles me a little), but I figured I could handle it better than what I did. I pretty much spent half the show trying NOT to turn into a blubbering pile of goo. I more or less succeeded, but it was a hard won battle at times. Read the rest of this entry »

Last night, I was sitting in my room watching America’s Got Talent and wondering why I was missing BC so much. Then one of the finalists sang Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” and it hit me. For the past several weeks, I have spent several hours on Tuesday and Wednesday nights watching this TV show. Its American Idol on crack…. seriously! I have never been a fan of Idol, though I adore music. America’s Got Talent has music and so much more.
Any type of act is accepted into the auditions. Those shows were wickedly entertaining at times for the shear “I can’t believe they think that is talent” factor. Then there are the surprisingly entertaining acts, such as the married couple that has a juggling chain saws act. Not all that original, but they add there own spice to it.
